Glenview Community Ice Center
Join us in February to celebrate all things winter at Winterfest at the Glenview Community Ice Center. Watch triple-header hockey games between Glenbrook South Titan Hockey Club and Loyola Hockey Academy and see the Glenview Stars Hockey Association take on the HoneyBaked Hockey Club. Enjoy a figure skating exhibition. Check out the Ice Center’s Ice Bumper Cars and participate in afternoon family public sessions or an evening glow stick public session. Enjoy food and drink at North Branch, and much more! All proceeds benefit the Glenview Park Foundation.
General admission is $5 at the door and includes entry into all hockey games and the figure skating exhibition. The exhibition will feature Julia Fennel (Team Israel); Alexis Gaspatotto, Ladies Senior Competitor, U.S. Nationals; and Glenview Blades teams Aspire 1 and 3.
Test Your Speed and Power with Goodman Elite!
Join us at Winterfest for a fun and competitive athletic testing experience! From 3 to 6 p.m., stop by their station to challenge yourself in two quick tests: the vertical jump and a 10-yard sprint. Participation is just $5, with all proceeds going to support the Glenview Parks Foundation. No pre-registration required. You can find Goodman Elite in the Dryland Training Room on the second floor. Show off your skills and compete for prizes awarded to the participants with the highest jump and fastest sprint! Whether you’re an athlete or just looking to have some fun, this is your chance to see how you stack up!
A Balloon Artist will be at the event from 4 to 6 p.m., and Snowie will give out shaved ice treats from 4 to 7 p.m.
Rink A:
- 5:10 PM – 7:10 PM: Glenbrook South Varsity Blue Senior Night Game, including a Dynamite Scramble
- 7:20 PM – 9:10 PM: Glenbrook South Varsity Senior Night Game, with a Peewee/Bantam All-Star Race
- 9:20 PM – 10:30 PM: Glenbrook South Junior Varsity Game
Rink B:
- 3:30 PM – 5:45 PM: Public Skate (with a mid-skate ice cut at 4:30 PM)
- 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Skating Exhibition
- 6:40 PM – 8:00 PM: Glenview Stars Hockey Association vs. HoneyBaked Hockey Club
- 8:10 PM – 9:30 PM: Glow Skate
Studio Rink
- 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Bumper Cars
- 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM: Drop-In Broomball
- 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Bumper Cars
Public Skating Sessions on Rink B
- Admission is $7 per skater at the door; $4 skates.
- Skaters ages 5 and under are free with a skating adult
- Includes all general admission activities plus admission to all public skating sessions.
Ice Bumper Cars on the Studio Rink
- $10 per rider for each 15-minute session.
- Includes all general admission activities. Register today.
